History

1923 Zenjiro Imamura, the founder of the company, commenced the manufacture and sale of adhesives in Tokyo.
1941 Established Imamura Chemical Laboratories, a limited-liability company, in Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, for the purpose of manufacturing and selling adhesives.
1948 Established Imamura Chemical Laboratories Co., Ltd. in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
1949 Established the Osaka Office.
1951 Established Cemedine Co., Ltd. as a marketing base for the company's products.
Relocated the Head Office to Arakawa Ward, Tokyo.
1953 Established the Fukuoka Sales Office.
1956 Took over Cemedine Co., Ltd., a sales base for the company's products, on an absorption basis and changed the company name to CEMEDINE CO., LTD.
Relocated the Head Office to Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
Established the Nagoya Office.
1958 Established the Sapporo Sales Office.
1960 Established the Sendai Sales Office.
1962 Established the Ibaraki Plant.
